We are now all sitting on our flight from phoenix to Oakland! We are all ready to be home :)

23,000 people. 250 priest. 175 seminarians. 30 deacons. 8 bishops. 2+ hours. An amazing experience!

Just checking in

So we just finished getting dinner at the mall and now we are at Lucas oil getting ready for Saturday night festivities!! We are headed down to the floor to trade whatever we have left!! :)

Lunch time

So we preordered panera sandwiches for everyone and yesterday it all when well but then today they wouldn't let's us bring in lunches so we had to all come outside (after having left the stadium to get into the workshops we wanted) and then sneak our lunches in!! Now we are all in our workshop sessions waiting for them to start :)

Mike Patin

Good morning everyone!! Right now we are listening to Mike Patin kill it during his key note :) he is awesome!! He told us be who we are called to be and we can set the world on fire which was said by st Catherine of Siena (I think) he is using great metaphors and is hilarious!!

Tonights art display

So at a certain point in the ending ceremony tonight the jumbo screen showed hands creating pictures which at first we thought was a video but turned out to be a man creating pictures with sand. The one that is really bright is Jesus' face its just hard to capture on my phone!

DINNER TIME

Finally about to sit down to a nice dinner with just our group at Champps! Shout out to Wendy Thompson with a picture of her lovely child :) hope everyone is enjoying the blog as much as Wendy

Sessions

So our main activity today was choosing three different workshops that took place one right after the other. Many of the ones everyone wanted filled up so we had to make quick decisions but for the most part I think it went well :) now Bob and I are just waiting for the rest of the group! The picture is of tony Melendez workshop that a few of us switched to because it sounded so much fun!!

We are walking in this massive crowd of people trying to find Mary and Bob who have our lunches then get to our sessions but we see no food and the sessions are filling up!! Wish us luck :)

7:00 AM

We got a bright and early start this morning meeting in a hotel room at 6:45 to eat breakfast, we arrived at Lucas Oil Stadium at 7:40. We are all a bit exhausted :/ the event doesn't start until 9 so we have some time wake up haha and to mingle! Hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their sleep since it is only 5 am at home!!

About Dinner last night

So last night we went to dinner with two other dioceses that are in our region at bocca de pepo. We all sat down but we were all at tables with people we see all the time so I stood up and asked if anyone else was willing to move tables and get to know new people, and people moved! It was awesome getting to know more people from other areas :)

Dinner

We are sitting down with our entire region for dinner :) about to make new friends and enjoy some great conversation! Hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their Thursday afternoon at home!!

Day 1

So this morning we strolled the mall and now we are all hanging out in the thematic park getting free stuff, buying different things and meeting new people!

We have ARRIVED

Hello Indianapolis!! All 26 of us have safely made it to Indiana and are excited for our trip and more importantly for the pizza waiting back at the hotel for us :) we are all pooped and will sleep very well! Until tomorrow <3

Kansas City

We just landed in Kansas City! This is just a stop on our way to Indianapolis and we just found out were 15 minutes early :) its 6 here hope you all enjoy the rest of your afternoon haha

Waiting to Board

We are all sitting at terminal 31 eating burger king, jamba juice, cpk, salad and subway. Our flight to Kansas City leaves at 12:35!! We are all ready :)

ON OUR WAY!!

Hello everyone! We are just pulling out of the church parking lot headed to Oakland airport!! We all went to the 9:00 mass this morning and Father Ray gave us a special blessing :) we are all set for a fabulous weekend in the presence of the Lord!!
